UvbyHbeta_ photometry of main sequence A type stars.
We present Stroemgren uvby and Hbeta_ photometry for a set of575 northern main sequence A type stars, most of them belonging to theHipparcos Input Catalogue, with V from 5mag to 10mag and with knownradial velocities. These observations enlarge the catalogue we began tocompile some years ago to more than 1500 stars. Our catalogue includeskinematic and astrophysical data for each star. Our future goal is toperform an accurate analysis of the kinematical behaviour of these starsin the solar neighbourhood.

Vitesses radiales. Catalogue WEB: Wilson Evans Batten. Subtittle: Radial velocities: The Wilson-Evans-Batten catalogue.
We give a common version of the two catalogues of Mean Radial Velocitiesby Wilson (1963) and Evans (1978) to which we have added the catalogueof spectroscopic binary systems (Batten et al. 1989). For each star,when possible, we give: 1) an acronym to enter SIMBAD (Set ofIdentifications Measurements and Bibliography for Astronomical Data) ofthe CDS (Centre de Donnees Astronomiques de Strasbourg). 2) the numberHIC of the HIPPARCOS catalogue (Turon 1992). 3) the CCDM number(Catalogue des Composantes des etoiles Doubles et Multiples) byDommanget & Nys (1994). For the cluster stars, a precise study hasbeen done, on the identificator numbers. Numerous remarks point out theproblems we have had to deal with.

UBVR Photometry of Selected Eclipsing Variables in Perseus and Cassiopeja
UBVR observations of 8 binaries in Perseus and Casiopeja are given.Photometric characteristics of the variables and their colors in maximaand, in some cases, in minima are determined. An analysis was carriedout of components in color-color diagrams, and their possible spectrawere evaluated. Periods of three systems have been improved.

2000 A UV imaging of a 6 deg diameter field around the H and Chi Persei double cluster
A stellar field centered close to the h and Chi per double cluster hasbeen observed at 2000 A by the stratospheric balloon-born telescope ofthe SCAP-2000 program. It is shown that the prevailing extinction lawproduces greater extinction at 1965 A than is predicted by the meanextinction law. The results suggest the presence of an H2 cloud in frontof h and Chi Per in the second absorbing layer and in the local arm. Agroup of hot stars centered at the same distance as the molecular cloudmay form an association of OB stars in the local arm.

Ultraviolet television data from the orbiting astronomical observatory. II - Stellar ultraviolet colors and interstellar extinction
The results from the Celescope Catalog of Ultraviolet StellarObservations (Davis, Deutschman, and Haramundanis 1973) are studied,emphasizing statistical groups and subgroups of stars. In spite of therather large observational errors, the great number of Celescopeobservations make it possible to do that kind of study with reasonableaccuracy. Some stars have ultraviolet colors that differ significantlyfrom those of the group to which they have been assigned on the basis ofground-based observations. An attempt is made to describe the generalproperties of the ultraviolet colors of the stars as observed by theCelescope experiment on board NASA's Orbiting Astronomical Observatory(OAO-2). Besides the direct applicability of these results to thegeneral study of stellar atmospheres and of interstellar extinction,they are also considered as a frame of reference for further studies ofindividual stars and groups of stars.
